Thomas founded MHK Consultants in 1991 with a clear vision: help organizations use technology as a strategic advantage, not just a necessary expense. With dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Chemistry from William Paterson University, Thomas brings a rare blend of analytical thinking and practical business insight to every engagement.

Before founding MHK, Thomas spent 12 years at BDO Seidman, an international accounting firm, where he worked across the tax, audit, bankruptcy, and management consulting practices. During his tenure, he was an early adopter of microcomputer technology and led initiatives that automated firm-wide processes including billing, document management, auditing, and tax preparation.

Today, Thomas continues to serve as President of MHK Consultants, overseeing company operations and long-term strategy. His deep understanding of construction, property management, and professional services organizations allows him to guide clients with clarity, precision, and a long-term perspective.

Brian is a technology leader and business strategist with more than 28 years of experience in IT, including over 24 years at MHK Consultants. He began his career at MHK as an entry-level engineer and steadily grew into his current role, where he now oversees company operations, service delivery, and strategic client relationships.

Brian is passionate about solving complex problems and helping organizations operate more efficiently and securely. His approach goes beyond resolving issues — he focuses on prevention, optimization, and building resilient technology environments that support long-term growth and overall success.

Outside of work, Brian is deeply family oriented. He is married with three children and enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and supporting his kids’ many activities. He also enjoys staying current with emerging IT trends and working on hands-on projects that reflect his curiosity and creativity.

Christine brings a wealth of professional experience to MHK, built across a wide-ranging career in finance, systems implementation, and business operations. A New Jersey native — she grew up in Elmwood Park and now lives in Oakland — Christine began her professional career as an Assistant Buyer with A&P in Montvale, NJ. She then joined John Fluke Manufacturing in Paramus, NJ, where she supervised the invoicing department and served as a Regional Training Coordinator until the corporate office relocated to Seattle, WA.

Christine went on to Hitachi America, Ltd. in Tarrytown, NY, where she was responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of the company’s Sales, Order Entry, and Purchasing Systems. From there she moved to FINOVA Capital Corporation (formerly Bell Atlantic TriCon Leasing Corporation) in Paramus, NJ as a Senior Implementation/Business Analyst and was later promoted to PC Application Manager — a role she stepped away from to raise her two sons after meeting her husband at the firm.

While at home with her family, Christine launched her own bookkeeping business, supporting a roster of landscapers, arborists, and wood floor installers — all clients earned through word-of-mouth referrals. She also volunteered extensively in her community as PTO President and PTO Treasurer, and earned her certification as a professional Spin Instructor, a passion she continues to pursue and still teaches today.

Christine returned to the workforce at MHK Consultants in Wayne, NJ, where she has enjoyed working for 18 years and counting. As Controller, she is responsible for all aspects of the company’s books, including Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Credit & Collections.

Phil’s passion for technology began at a young age and led him into the IT field immediately after high school. He joined MHK Consultants in 2015 as a Level 1 Consultant and quickly distinguished himself through his technical skill, leadership, and dedication to client success.

Over the past 10 years, Phil has played a key role in spearheading complex projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring consistent service quality across the organization. As Director of IT Operations, he is responsible for overseeing service delivery, driving continuous improvement, and making sure MHK’s clients receive reliable, proactive support.

Outside of work, Phil prioritizes health, balance, and community involvement. He enjoys staying active, cooking, attending sporting events, and volunteering at his church, where he helps livestream services for parishioners who are unable to attend in person.

Richard’s interest in technology started early, beginning with building his first PC in high school. That curiosity evolved into a career focused on maintaining, optimizing, and supporting the systems our clients rely on every day.

At MHK Consultants, Richard balances hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities. He plays a vital role in ensuring client issues are handled efficiently, consistently, and with a high level of care.

Outside of work, Richard remains highly engaged in technology-driven communities, managing websites and databases for online gaming groups. He is also strongly committed to giving back and continually looks for new ways to support his community. On weekends, you can often find him riding his motorcycle out on the open road.

Mike brings a client-first mindset and a strong technical foundation to the MHK team. He began his IT career working in hospital environments before transitioning into the managed services space, where he has spent the past six years supporting diverse client needs.

Mike thrives on solving problems efficiently and takes pride in helping clients get back to work quickly and confidently. He values teamwork and appreciates the collaborative culture at MHK, which he believes directly benefits the clients we serve.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and their Miniature Schnauzer, Evie. He also values time with friends and family and is a dedicated Cleveland sports fan, especially when it comes to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Riley’s interest in technology started in childhood, when he was the friend setting up the servers that kept everyone connected for late-night gaming sessions. That early curiosity grew into a career. Before joining MHK, Riley spent seven years at an MSP in Texas supporting industries ranging from healthcare and law enforcement to courts and oil and gas. After relocating to the New York area with his partner, he joined MHK Consultants in April 2025 as a Level 1 Consultant and quickly advanced into his current role.

At MHK, Riley leads project management and automation, designing and building custom tools that streamline how the team delivers service and expand what MHK can offer its clients. He brings deep AI and cloud engineering expertise across Microsoft Azure and mentors junior engineers across the team. Riley holds Microsoft certifications across Azure (AZ-104, AZ-900), Power Platform (PL-900), and AI (AB-730 AI Business Professional and AB-731 AI Transformation Leader), and is currently working toward PL-200.

Outside of work, Riley grew up playing competitive soccer in California with the Olympic Development Program. He is a lifelong sports fan — with basketball at the top of the list — and enjoys gaming in his free time.

James has been drawn to computers since a young age, fueled by a love of gaming. He went on to study Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity at Saint Peter’s University, where he built a strong foundation in networking, systems, and coding. After graduation, he earned his CompTIA Security+ certification through consistent, focused preparation.

James joined MHK as a Junior Systems Engineer and has since gained hands-on experience in networking, securing client environments, and supporting client infrastructure through daily interaction with end users. He has led multiple projects independently and continues to expand his expertise in networking and security as he develops a well-rounded understanding of IT operations.

Outside of work, James stays healthy by going to his local gym regularly and is passionate about car culture. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle as a way to clear his mind.

Bryan is a driven and highly motivated professional whose curiosity and work ethic have defined every stage of his journey. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Caldwell University in 2022, graduating Cum Laude, before his deep-rooted passion for technology led him to attend Lincoln Technical Institute, where he graduated at the top of his class. Bryan joined MHK as an intern in mid-2025 and quickly distinguished himself, earning a full-time position with the team shortly thereafter.

Outside of work, Bryan is an avid gamer and a fine whiskey enthusiast who enjoys exploring different distilleries, regions, and flavor profiles — approaching his hobbies with the same curiosity and attention to detail he brings to his career.

Nick is a Web Developer who has been an integral part of the MHK team for over 15 years. His journey at the company began on the helpdesk, where he honed his foundational IT skills before advancing to a role as a Systems Administrator.

Today, Nick brings his deep technical background to his work in both front and back-end website development—a passion that started as a hobby when he coded his very first website for his high school DJ gig in 2009.

Besides work, Nick is an avid video game and media enthusiast, always keeping up with the latest in TV and movies. When he’s not behind a screen, he loves taking to the water, frequently enjoying cruises and boating adventures around Florida and the Caribbean.
